Country park

Moors Valley Country Park is a vast country park that features adventure playgrounds, cycle hire, a miniature railway and more.

This place is fantastic. We came here many years ago and didn't appreciate it quite as much as we should have.We came again recently and enjoyed the place so much we got an annual parking pass, would definitely Italy recommend it as it can get pricey otherwise.Talking about pricey, ensure to take your own food and drink, we forgot a drink last time and 2 cans of Pepsi max set us back £4.40.It is worth taking your bikes as well as the cycle routes are great fun, did the short ones last time as we had two younger children in tow, but will endeavour to complete them all next time.If you don't have your own, you can also hire bikes on site and enjoy the grounds that way, including trailers or attachments for the kids. The lake is beautiful. I have never seen so many tadpoles in one place in my life. It's a nice walk just around the perimeter, the kids loved wildlife spotting. The play parks are really good, ours love both the bigger park and the one aimed at smaller children. There is a steam train that services a lot of the ground, worth a trip to take in a lot of the scenery while sitting back and relaxing. There are several play areas out in the woodland, each one more amazing than the last, the Eagle is phenomenal.I would recommend the treetop trail, unless you're not great with heights. It's not that high up but can certainly affect those with a nervous disposition.Well worth a visit if you have kids or enjoy the outdoors.

This place is the perfect day out with family, kids, couples. There’s pretty much something for everyone who loves the outdoors. There are countless picnic spots all over. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area spending the day here. There is an additional charge for go ape and train ride but do cater for everyone which I love.

Garinna M — Google review

Brilliant place for outdoor fun with plenty to keep kids, dogs and grown ups busy. The kids absolutely loved the Play Trail with several climbing frames, slides, play spaces etc and all for FREE. Yes you pay for parking -we were there over 5 hours and parking cost £15- but it's a small price to pay when there is so much on offer inside. The Ranger Den with animals and fossils was great and the play parks were also a big hit. There's also plenty of additional pay for activities (Go Ape, Train ride, golf etc) if you feel so inclined but there's more than enough to keep you active and interested for a whole day without having to reach into your pocket. The kids were asking to go again as we were driving out of the carpark so that's a 5 star review from them

Great day out for family loads to do,walks,go ape, seaways, food etc....BUT !!!!Parking to expensive, have a think about the cost as very off putting ....work up London, drive van up London, park up london, but your not London thank goodness....Kindest regards Rob

We visited Moors Valley Country park on our way back home from Cornwall. The park has a lot of wooden play areas...its a lot of fun for kids. Go ape is also on site and the restaurant offers good variety of food and all that we order was really tasty. They only charge for the parking, we paid £11 for 4h or so.We would love to go back as we couldn't see everything. Great place for a day out with the kids.

Isabel E — Google review

What a great place for kids to blow off some steam. There are two sand based play areas for different age groups, nice paths around the lake with musical interactions to try out. Then the forest trails and wooden play areas are huge fun...Just car parking was a little expensive in my opinion.

Dave ( — Google review

Forest at Moors Valley inspire you to be outside and take in the beautiful views. Going round on the bike paths means you take most of it in. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Bournemouth or surrounding areas. They also have Go Ape, Segways, Cycle Hire, parks, on site cafe and shop. 10/10

Great afternoon. Christmas train ride to see Santa. Gifts for adults and kids. Mulled wine and mince pies. Highly recommend it. Staff were all amazing on creating this magical experience

Janet T — Google review

What a place to go with the kids! Endless play areas, an outdoor environment, beautiful Scots pine trees everywhere... go ape, tree top play areas... truly wonderful. Parking is £12 for the day. Back of the net! Boom

Chambers U — Google review

Amazing natural reserve with lots of different things to do, from walking on a long trail, taking kids to the playground, picnic area, lake with Swans, mini train route, food variety, Ice creams , go ape, there's so much you can do. I paid £14.30 for just two hours of parking, however considering this is the only payment and you can enjoy it so much in a clean environment I think it's worth the payment, Beautiful!

(810)3-Day Ringwood Itinerary (6)

Campground

Back of Beyond is an adult-only RV park located in the Ringwood and Ferndown area of Hampshire in the UK. The site focuses on conservation, using the park to provide natural habitats for wildlife and plants, as well as accommodating camping and touring guests. If you're looking for a tranquil holiday experience that doesn't involve large groups or lots of noise, then Back of Beyond is definitely worth checking out.

Just returned from a 4 day stay at back of beyond. What a beautiful site it is.The facilities where spotlessly clean and modern, the grounds are stunning.A great base for exploring Dorset. You will not be disappointed. One small gripe (and it is small) £20.00 for 2 dogs is a little unnecessary..I will certainly be going back....Thanks for a great stay.

Robert B — Google review

Close to Ringwood, New Forest, and lovely beaches, down side is nothing really close to walk to.On site is really clean with good shower and washing up facilities. It has a nice little bar with nice outside seating. On site shop for little things you may have forgotten.Outside catering facilities via portable vans most evenings.Secure site child free but pet friendly.Friendly staff and very helpful.Just the place for a quite stay.

The showers at this site are beautiful, however there are not enough of them - I had to shower in the van due to the lengthy queues on Sunday morning- I don’t mind paying a lot for facilities if I can actually use them. My main problem was that we booked as a group of 3 vans, three couples, all around the age of 60, all grandparents and all very respectful. An email came back warning us that we would not be able to gather outside on van. One of our party wrote back to say explain the above and that we would not be loud. We get together once a year, we like to eat together and play the very rowdy game of scrabble. On arrival, after an interesting comment about our van, which made us feel like we were not up to your usual standards (sorry I don’t recall the exact words but do remember us both feeling the same) we discovered that we were all separated and some distance apart - thus having to carry hot food around the campsite. (We were not the only people doing similarly) It would appear that the assumption was made about us, as a group and we felt like we were treated like naughty children before we had even had the chance to be naughty. Too many rules which did not seem to be obeyed - I was woken by a loud conversation at 6.15 am by members of staff. Double standards. If you want a quiet holiday and don’t mind all the rules an potentially not be able to get off or on to the pitch because of the way other pitches are laid out - this is the place for you.

Just had a wonderful stay at BOB, we were met by a lovely lady with a big smile, who went through our pitch place and amenities. We had the most beautiful weather for our stay and since our last stay some 15 years ago there's been some huge changes around the park. All the staff work tirelessly keeping the park and toilets showers clean and tidy for everyone to use.The food vans that come every day were very good and fairly priced.Must say the fish and chips were superb.Would highly recommend BOB to anyone.

We spent a couple of nights here at Back of Beyond and really enjoyed it. We had seen some reviews and it was also recommended to us by friends.Pitches are arranged in rows and are mostly hardstanding with electric hook-up and a couple of water points in each row. Pitches are a good size with a grass area where you can sit out. There are two amenity blocks, one by the reception/shop and the other at the bottom end of the site - with toilets, showers and washing up points. The site is very dog friendly with dog walks around the woods, dog waste bins and a dog wash. The on site shop is quite well stocked, is licensed and you can order croissants and other baked goods for the next morning.Monty's Bar is a super idea and a great way to relax with a drink in the early evening and meet others. The site is also well served by food trucks with different vendors visiting each night if you don't fancy cooking (or washing up!)We just stayed on site and it was fairly quiet and relaxing. Next time we'll come back for a longer stay (if they'll have us back!) and explore the local area a bit more.

Russell M — Google review

We had a lovely time. We were accommodated easily despite our pitch being waterlogged which made our stay easier. They were very understanding of the fact that one of our dogs is reactive and all four of us had a brilliant time! Fantastic washing facilities. We'd love to come back!

Andrew B — Google review

Clean modern toilet blocks.Good sized pitches. Nice bar area and well stocked shop.Ideal site for dog owners as there is a good sized woodland with laid out paths. Site busy but peaceful. Good to note staff were respectful to visitors not cutting grass/hedges around occupied pitches!!Recommend this adult only site.

A truly lovely and well run site. Great facilities.Clean, peaceful and friendly. Bonus was the fab bar and social area.Up there with our favourite sites. We will be back.Lovely cycle ride on the Castleman trail, tooSandy and Ian

Beautiful campsite! This was our first time in our new campervan and found this little gem to stay at! It was big enough so you had space from others, it had the cutest bar EVER, and even a variety of food vans every night! The toilets / showers were always clean and have been done up so nicely with loads of little touches to make it feel like home. Beautiful walks on site for the doggy’s too! Would definitely be back in the future, as this is by far the best one! Thanks so much guys!

Danielle V — Google review

A great campsite with excellent facilities including a bar and visiting food vans. It's main market seems to be campers and caravans in equipped formal spaces. While not my thing, this main area was popular. However this campsite also caters for more informal lighter weight campers in a very nice open glade area. Dogs seem very popular here along with maybe a slightly more mature clientele, though non dog area is also catered for. Overall a campsite i may visit again that tries to cater for everyone's preferences. Why not 5 stars? The main area is a bit 'organised' for my liking, though my glade area was lovely.

Anticat900 — Google review

Had a lovely mini break here! Space was big enough for our tent and car plus a little area to have our hired fire pit! Little hedges to separate you from your neighbours. Shower facilities, little shop and ice block freezer were certainly appreciated if you might forget something or want something fresh. Forest with the dog and lake to get some quiet moments were great additions. Super friendly staff. We did the castleman trail way to the fish inn pub which also had lovely customer service. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay for Christmas and New Year, second year running. The team, brilliantly led by Martin and Vicki, with fabulous support from Mick, Kathleen, Malcom and the boys. All are so welcoming, we love catching up with familiar faces and making new friends and restocking our supplies of yummy honey.Such a lovely campsite, quiet and dog friendly, visiting eateries and on-site bar called Monty’s, spacious pitches and beautiful grounds! No wonder it’s our favourite.

Thank you once again for a fantastic stay at your beautiful site. We are now traveling back home after 5 wonderful nights. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the facilities are excellent and immaculate. The shop is packed full of yummy goodies and lastly Monty's bar is a welcome retreat and offers a lovely relaxed, chilled environment.Already looking forward to our next visit!Thank you, Steve and Sharon

Just got back from my second visit to Back of Beyond. Owners and staff are lovely. Shop is stocked with everything you need and lots of bits you didn’t even know you needed. I stayed in one of the Pods, Kingfisher this time and the Robin last time. They are beautiful! The whole place is spotless and the attention to detail is amazing. Also if you have a dog you won’t find a better place to take them. Highly recommend.

Carolyn H — Google review

First time visit for us after recommendations from others. Right up there as one of our favourite ever campsites. We wanted a few days to just ‘be’ and not to go anywhere or do much at all and this place fitted the bill so much. There’s no easy access to anywhere locally unless you drive there but that was the whole point of this place to us. The surroundings were stunning and the facilities were top drawer. They have the most wonderful bar with indoor and outdoor settings and I was pleased to find decent craft beer on tap which is such a rarity for a campsite. Staff were lovely. Being non dog owners, it was great fun for us to meet a plethora of different dogs and their responsible owners. Only 90 minutes from home for us and we’ll definitely be back.

Malcolm S — Google review

Beautiful adult only campsite. Fantastic facilities, the heated floors in the showers were a wonderful touch, everywhere is spotless, dog friendly and lovely and peaceful. Very well run and nothing is too much trouble.Only downside was fish and chip van had gone on Saturday night by 1915, which was a bit of a surprise, and the boy racers on the A31 tearing up and down til late, however these things are outside the control of the campsite. We would definitely recommend and return

Kate H — Google review

Can't judge it really because I went down to help on an emergency. Sister on law had broken her shoulder and couldn't get the awning down. Apparently the site didn't want to know re the accident, they were too busy to care. No first aid was available and no one offered to help them take down the awning so I had to drive 60 miles to get there. When I got there we explained our reason to visit and we were not allowed to enter without paying £2.50 per person(3 of us to help take huge awning down). We said we're there to help someone with a broken shoulder as they wouldn't. Eventually we got in to help and then made our way home after 3 hours. We didn't have to pay after some negotiation. Nice site and facilities but lacking care. What would they have done if it was a heart attack?

Bob W — Google review

Perfect. Clean, warm toilets & showers.Great bar with perfect hours, 4pm 'til 8pm.Good size pitches. Adults only. Friendly welcoming staff. Good choice of takeaway food. A fabulous on-site off lead dog walk. We are not ones for going back to the same places, as we like to get around. But with this being only 30 minutes from our house, we'll definitely return. Super dog friendly, too. Great location to get around Dorset

The M — Google review

We booked for 2 nights here, and we ended up only staying the one night due to the staff that lie through their teeth and are very rude. The rules are very restricting. We felt like we were staying in an asylum and felt like if we breathed too heavy or sighed, we would get told off and asked to leave. If you are looking for a ‘dog friendly’ place to stay, this is not it. Dogs are ‘tolerable’ if they are only seen and not heard, I get that it is meant to tranquil, but you have to allow the dog to have the odd bark, not tell them they will be ‘banned’ or be asked to leave the bar area especially when another dog is barking then causing your dog to bark once or twice!! I feel this place is very cliquey, and if you’re not in their regular visitors group, then you are treated like an outcast. I would not recommend this place to anybody, avoid at all costs, especially if you have dogs that even slightly react to a dog barking. We have stayed in various dog friendly places around the UK and have never been spoken to or treated the way we were here, we received a comment from one staff member stating “I don’t know why dog owners so protective of their dogs”. I would suggest that they revisit their business model and say no to dogs’ full stop as they don’t have the tolerance for dogs visiting their touring park. I would like a refund for the one night we didn’t stay and the stress we have endured, so much for a relaxing weekend away with friends.Update: Thank you for the reply. I expected no less of your response! The lying comment was actually made about the check in lady, who came over to our pod and said she had received complaints about our dog barking but what she didn't realise was she had just checked in our friends and said to them 'argh I'm going to have to sort that out' the lady literally finished checking them in and walked down by our friends car to the pod and said to us 'we have received complaints about your dog barking, you need to sort it out otherwise you'll be banned!' Our friends then told us there were no complaints made as she literally left them and came straight down to us. Yes my dog was stressed at that specific moment as she was approached by an off lead dog (which isn't allowed on your site) and she is currently recovering from cancer treatment so wasn't happy with that approach which I explained to the owner. This is all within being there an hour. So when you asked us to leave the bar area, my reaction was that as we had previously been told this. My dog was not stressed and anxious in the bar, she was actually lying down on the floor before the other dog started barking, which she responded to as some dogs do! So, with this all happening within the first 3 hours being on your site, you can imagine my upset with the unwelcome atmosphere towards us. You might want to find out what your staff are saying to your customers before you respond to all reviews and find out the whole story. I don't think it's very professional of you walking out after saying your piece when I've come to explain to my friends why we can't sit in the bar with them and we were leaving due to the unwelcome response we received. Your response speaks how professional you are!

Great place if travelling with dog. Felt very over crowded in pitch and few dogs running around off leads. Would go for more private pitch next time. But just our preference, was great fun and good facilities for adults

Jane B — Google review

An adults only site, that has a wide variety of pitch types, a 4 to 8pm bar and different external caterers visiting each night. Dog friendly, in fact the best area for dog walking ever experienced including woods, see pictures.

Steve K — Google review

Great site with large well serviced pitches. lovely walks from the site, recommend walking to Ringwood along the Castlemans trail. Monty's bar is a lovely facility if you want a couple of hours away from your pitch. Also visiting food trucks are a bonus.

Graham K — Google review

We camped for 4 days and we're extremely lucky with the weather. The site is very clean and facilities are good. There is a limited shop and the visiting food trucks are OK. Loads of shops nearby. The pub is a real attraction, however is open 4-8pm only. 😮‍💨

Nice place for a short break . Lots of dogs here on holiday , it's ideal if you want to be surrounded by dogs. For such a good site I would have expected more than 10 amps electric supply for modern caravans and motorhomes . The staff were very friendly and helpful , especially Sam who helped me when I needed it.

John W — Google review

Lovely site nice pitches, nice little bar area, poor WiFi which was a big disadvantage for us as needed it. Nothing much to do within walking distance but if you just want a chill out it’s great

Me and my partner first came here 2 years ago and I’m so glad we came back. Everyone we met was so friendly from the staff to the other guests and the shower blocks were so clean and tidy. The bar area is lovely and I can’t wait to come back again. This is definitely not our last visit :)

Great location, hidden gem. Clean facilities, amazing friendly staff, nice bar and reasonably priced and nice little shop. And different food vans each night. Woodland walks. Great for camping, campervans etc. Adults only.

Exceptionally busy site over a weekend. Whilst it's an adults only site,we were in the minority not having a dog. Dogs ,dogs, and more dogs!Montys bar very nice, but again more dogs. The food vans that pull up each evening offer a great variety of food. We had the fish and chips on the Saturday, which was delicious. Be prepared to queue as its very popular. You may need to share the queue with a few dogs!Staff very helpful and friendly. We may consider using the site again in the week but would definitely avoid weekends.

Amazing place to stay, me and my wife had such a lovely visit. We’ve already booked to come again next year. Staff were lovely, pitches were great. My wife loved the bar 🤪

I’m giving 10 🌟 because this place is just AMAZING!!! This is a perfect place for relaxation, reconnecting with nature, distressing and just simply enjoy the beauty of the place. My husband and I stayed here for a week and we loved and enjoyed our entire time here. The campsite has “quiet time” which we loved because it prevents other guests from getting too loud and not realising the time. There is a pub and reception that sells essentials for camping and there also catering van every dinner time with different menu every night. The toilet blocks are very nice and clean including the laundry and dishwashing blocks. In the morning all we could hear was birds singing which was very nice and relaxing. The location is also great because it’s near Bournemouth Beach and other attractions. We are definitely coming back for another amazing visit and will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thank you so much BackOfBeyond we genuinely enjoyed our visit.

Very nice tidy campsite with very good wining and dining facilities, great dog walking area. Lots of rules and regs everywhere which made us feel a bit as though we were still at school and expecting someone to come and tell us off for doing something not allowed! Understand the reason for them but not for us, we won't be returning but many will find it the perfect haven.

Penny H — Google review

Love this place. Having always liked camping this is a compromise. Posh camping (glamping). We go for the pod. Amazingly warm, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. So that we feel we are still camping we use our sleeping bags and cook our meals on the double ringed gas stove outside. However, we did make use of the food vendors who come in the evening. Nice little shop with sitting area for quiet coffee. A bar, which was showing Six Nations this weekend. Excellent showers/toilets. Wooded area to walk. I could go on but why not try it for yourself. Adults only though. Thanks to all the friendly staff who work hard to make it such a great place.

5 stars all the way! Our 1st time away for Christmas and we were not disappointed. Monty's Bar is fantastic, met some lovely like minded people who had come away for Christmas, staff were lovely and friendly. Amazing dog walk which our Old English Sheepdog loved. Well stocked shop. Just had such a lovely time. Thank you BOB you have got it just right. Well done

A tale of two halfs! We chose this site for two main reasons. One, it was close to the ferry port and two, it was a member of the Tranquil Parks. We arrived and had a good welcome from the wardens. First impressions of the site were good. Nice and tidy and decent sized pitches. It was ideally situated to explore the South Coast. The fact that there was a food van every night helped out when we couldnt be bothered to cook ourselves. The Pizza was good as was the Thai. We liked the fact that the bar was open 4-8. Service in there was excellent and very friendly. The lady in reception was excellent when we asked her if she could witness some signatures on a document for us.Now onto the second half. We asked the Wardens whether it would be possible to leave an hour earlier than their terms and conditions said - 6.30am instead of 7,.30am as the last check in for our ferry was 7.30. They said they couldnt see it being a problem if we got ready the night before and only had to pull off in the morning. They also said that it might be better if we pulled up to the check in area and left from there. They would have to check with the owners. So that was us sorted. They then came back to say this wouldnt be possible so we ha no choice but to leave. So we had to spend the night before in the ferry port. I know it is stated in their terms and conditions but having stayed at many sites near Ferry Ports this is the first time we have been refused. Second point - Tranquil site NOT. Thursday, Friday and Saturday we were kept awake by a music festival and a thumping base beat from around 8pm until 11.30. It was seriously loud. It wasnt pleasant to sit outside with this booming out. I know this is not the campsites fault but as this happens every year they are well aware of it. It should be mentioned on their website that there may be some noise at this time so folks are pre warned and have an informed choice of whether to stay there or not. We can only assume it isnt mentioned so they dont lose bookings. It is a real shame as this is a site we would have returned to at another time if we werent catching a ferry and they could confirm that there was no planned music festival.

Carolyn D — Google review

Very nice site Bar with some games on site, each evening a mobile catering van is on site for a couple of hours offering a cooked food each night is different ranges from Fish and chip to Thai. Tents are well catered for with various options offered. Site very clean staff very helpful and friendly. Adult only site great site for dogs with walking area on site.

The wildlife park Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve is a beautiful place with stunning lakes and woods. The lakes are home to many different birds, including 500 species. The trails around the lakes are well-maintained and make for an enjoyable walk.

Beautiful walks. Scenery. Getting down with nature is a must. Brilliantly presented with great indoor view sheds to watch wildlife. So bring ya cameras. And binoculars, you will have a very good time.

Graham F — Google review

Enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours walking around the trails. The gentleman in the Visitor Centre was very pleasant and helpful. It would have been nice to be able to walk around the lakes whilst keeping them in view, rather than keeping them hidden behind large foliage. They only seemed to be visible from the Hydes.

Pamela T — Google review

Nice spot to stop off for our picnic lunch, peaceful and pleasant. Although the unmarked height barrier on the main carpark took us by surprise as no warning it's there - it's around 2m I think, we couldn't get under it in our MPV at 2.1m. Fortunately the carpark over the other side of the road by the education centre wasn't height restricted so we were still able to stop after causing a short moment of chaos having to reverse out the main carpark entrance!

Ally L — Google review

A nice nature reserve, with good footpaths and a number of hides. As someone more interested in wildlife photography than birdwatching, it was a real disappointment that the Woodland hide only has two opening windows. It would also be good to have more perching branches near the feeders, to enable more natural photos than just birds on feeders. But by far the biggest annoyance on the day I visited (23.2.23) was a guy sitting at one of the opening windows in the Woodland hide, constantly using his mobile phone. Not only receiving texts, but making and receiving calls, and holding loud conversations. I witnessed a number of people leave the hide because if it, and ask him to take his phone outside. He continued to use it, sometimes with his back to the window, disturbing everyone else, and stopping anyone else from using the viewing window. I imagine for most of the day. An absolute disgrace who should be banned from visiting the site again.

Paul S — Google review

If you like a walk in the woods with stop offs to watch the birds both in the woods and on the lakes, then this place is for you. There are well marked trails which are easy walking. They are also pushchair and wheelchair accessible but there are some kissing gates which could be difficult to negotiate with a chair.

Rachel L — Google review

Thought we'd drop in for a couple of hours and ended up staying all day. Amazing array of birds and lovely walks. The forest hide was a particular hit.

Andrew W — Google review

Visited in the evening via the public footpath, after the car park closed, and spotted fallow and muntjac deer.

Dan B — Google review

There's so much to see and do here... if you can find it! We're not local but were holidaying in the New Forest and wanted a wooded walk and an opportunity to see some wildlife but the signposting is poor. Perhaps that's the 'cunning plan' as it was quite and peaceful. I suppose you could call it a 'hidden gem'! There are plenty of well signposted trails once you're in but wellies or walking boots are a must! The bird hides are well positioned and there was plenty to see even in winter. Best of all, it's all free (although donations are encouraged).

Anthony S — Google review

Great place for a gentle stroll with the opportunity to see wildlife. There are a number of hides that are well maintained. The highlight of our walk today was a young roe deer on the path ahead of us. Also in abundance were a wide variety of insects, butterflies and birds. Definitely worth taking binoculars or a scope and settling in one of the hides, if you enjoy birdwatching.

Julie W — Google review

You can easily spend at least 4 hours walking around this amazing nature reserve because there are so many different bird hides. Most overlook a large lake and some allow you to watch Woodland birds at close quarters feeding at the many hanging bird feeders. Wonderful for nature lovers - it's peaceful and so green. Car parks and lovely visitor centre.

Shalom B — Google review

The New Forest Water Park is a paradise for families with older children – there's a range of activities suitable for everyone, from kayaking and paddle boarding to cable wakeboarding and the inflatable water park. With an impressive 4,000sq meters of watery fun, Aqua Park is sure to keep the whole family entertained.

I go here for Kayaking every time I have a small break from work, and it's always lovely. The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, the life guards are professional and good at their job, and the food is nice too!I'm autistic, and asked if there was anywhere else I could change as communal changing makes me very stressed. The staff were very kind and inclusive, directing me somewhere more private so I didn't have to worry.Amazing place, would recommend to anyone!

Water activities are fun, and a great way to knacker the kids out. But! It’s not cheap and they do take the Micky a bit with charging for parking …..And then when we had finished our activity, and were having sandwiches in the picnic area we were told that they don’t allow customers to eat their own food….. really exploiting a captive family …Better off going to the beach for free.

Sadly this review is not so much against the park but the car park company COUNTRY WIDE CAR PARKS.Their ticket machine was broken the day i was there. I told the staff. I recall them either saying not worry or we will charge you here on the computer. Didnt think any more of it as we were more excited about activities at the park.Couple if weeks latet I get a very expensive parking fine. I appealed this explaining the situation, this was not accepted. Neither the park or car park company knew how to confirm that the ticket machine was broken. So now I am stuck with a large parking fine I refuse to pay and this whole ordeal has ruined the Aqua park experience.

Good fun but as a group we had two cars, arrived late so rushed to get ready not realising that you had to pay for parking. The two £50 fines ruined the experience somewhat as it became a very expensive day out. I have been to several waterparks and not had to pay for parking before. Seems like a money making scheme, I will definitely not be returning, and found Dorset water park a far better experience.

I didn’t had the booking or anything I just accidentally joined my friend who went swimming. I was very lucky I managed to get lesson on 5 of August Friday evening on system 2.0 with very good coach, (sorry I forgot her name). It was first time ever and I believe it went very well.Definitely coming back for more lessons, I know it’s expensive, but definitely worth it!!!Also all bar/reception and equipment staff very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed experience!

Have to say the water park itself is good, but they need to look at who runs their carpark, we paid for parking before travel, but last minute my sister was able to come after feeling ill so we switched from a 4 seat mini to a 5 seat audi, not knowing anywhere we would have to change this, we received a letter a few days later with a £50 parking fine, we appealed and showed them that we had purchased a ticket with proof but they said we still have to pay the fine, a absolute joke its not as if we didn't pay and went. After many trips we will never go again!

I have been 3 times now and still love the experience. I went with my daughter (aged 9) and she absolutely loves it. There are two inflatable water parks to choose from running every 30 minutes from each other so you don't have to wait long to jump in a session. The staff are really friendly, informative and accommodating. A lovely bar overlooking the lake which can be enjoyed after your session.

So much fun, I've been twice, once on each inflatable Park, they are both amazing, ypu get q great amount of time for a good price, i recommend going summer / later summer especially. Great fun, especially in a group of freinds!

Beware of the parking scam! When you arrive at the car park the many signs are clear - parking is enforced 24 hours a day, and there is a £100 fine for non payment. There are plenty of signs which make this clear, so I paid for parking while at my car with the Just Park app, seeing as it works on ANPR and I didn't want to get a ticket. It is only once you have left the car park and walked to reception that you then see the first see signs reminding you to park in big letters, but also these signs state that the parking charges apply at weekends only in small print below (with the exception of July and August). By the time you reach this point, most people will have already paid. There is NOTHING in the car park, or on it's approach that tells you what the charges might be on the day of your visit. A simple sign at the entrance to the car park clearly advising visitors when the charges do and don't apply would go a long way - if the park can install the 26 signs that are mentioned in the response to other reviews, then I am sure they could manage ONE at the entrance, unless they don't want to of course, which is the perhaps the idea. This is incredibly misleading, and I wonder how many people pay unsuspectingly, or can't be bothered to go through the (very) convoluted process of attempting to get a refund through Just Park. Reception couldn't help, as the payment was made through the app, which is of course nothing to do with them, even though it is a private site which they manage. If parking charges don't apply, then this should be clear in the app when you attempt to park, rather than even the app saying that you need to pay as well, the site owner should be able to manage this. No doubt this is a clear strategy to generate extra profit. Shame on you New Forest Water Park.My daughter had a great time, mine was tainted by the feeling I was being ripped off. I'd have been happier paying £21 for the booking with free parking, rather than the stress and hassle of trying to pay for parking which wasn't actually needed, which just feels like a totally unnecessary additional charge. Other parks don't charge parking on top of the entry fee.

Whether with family or with your partner, go alone. a place you will enjoy. meals cheap parking 1 hour £1 excellent for kids

Great hot chocolate, few wasps around the bins which made it uncomfortable to sit and eat but the park was very fun. Even though there was a massive group of teenagers who were messing around, they were sorted out quickly and everyone could all have fun.

Francesca M — Google review

Not sure why they ask if you're gluten intolerant or allergic to your food orders???Is it because it's okay to cause you discomfort a couple of hours later - if they can't be bothered to find the gluten free option, when you say I'm gluten intolerant? But they might actually do it if you are allergic - because they may have to deal with the immediate effect.

Favourite place to be, everyone is always super friendly and accommodating. Will always help whenever they can! They love newbies getting into wakeboaridng and will do their best to get you up and riding. The aqua park is great fun for those who want something a little less vigorous than wakeboarding. Awesome atmosphere, can’t recommend these guys enough. Been going for years 😁

Nicole S — Google review

Great facility for wakeboarders and the guys on the dock are always sound. Unfortunately I booked the wrong day and within minute if not seconds through the edit/cancel system they have in place but was basically told sorry we have your money and don't care

Really good fun on the Neptune water park and we were very lucky with the weather. I thought it was good value but I felt it very odd that you had to pay extra for parking and only in 2 hour slots. Thismeant we didn’t stay to have any food and drink as our time was up

We love the water park and the two obstacle courses, great to see some much needed investment with a proper tarmac car park and food/drinks cabin. Couple of niggles…the staff don’t always seem that interested in helping customers but more interested in having a chat between themselves, we had to wait for 5 mins for a life vest when we were the only people queuing and there were 5 members of staff in and outside the booth. Plus one member of staff at the food/drinks cabin did have quite a bit of attitude, not directed at me but at someone else in the queue who asked for sugar for their drinks…which made her huff and puff and then he asked for stirrers (obviously needed for the sugar he’d just asked for) and it was like they’d asked for something completely unreasonable. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and had quite a chip on her shoulder.

This place is incredible! I’ve made some amazing friends since wakeboarding, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, the activities are all very fun and safe. Get down to the aqua park and give wakeboarding a go! It’s awesome.

Eddie C — Google review

It’s a nice little set-up with two inflatable water parks and a nice little outdoor cafe. The cafe has lots of drinks and good options including deserts - the service is is very friendly despite how busy the get.Dogs welcome.Wasps are often an issue here.

We attended on a Friday afternoon in April for a work event and we had the entire park to ourselves which was great. Highly recommend wetsuits, the waster was cold but fine once you are in. Changing rooms are basic they are basically a giant shed. You can get hot and cold food as well as drinks. Staff were all friendly.

Danielle B — Google review

Took my daughter here for her 7th birthday. Her choice. Unfortunately she didn't last more than 5 minutes as her wet suit was too big for her and water kept getting inside which she didn't like. However she is very dinky for her age and this I feel could not be helped except maybe investing in some smaller suits. Me and my eldest were left to play for the hour whilst my husband took little one out.....and had a great time, lots of fun. Could not recommend enough. Good all round facilities and cafe. Will definitely be going again.

We've been meaning to go here for years. I'm so glad we finally made it. My girls (8 and 10) loved the aqua park as did I. My youngest particularly loved how she was the best at some of the obstacles as for once her lack of size worked in her favour. I'm now set to head back by myself for the wakeboarding. The staff were all so incredibly welcoming and everything is so very well organised. Even the water was a surprisingly pleasant temperature. The easiest 5-star review I've given in a long time.

Amazing place. Really well organised. Food and drink available too. Inflatables are knackering but hilarious and paddle boarding great fun.

Such a Shame - The New Forest Water Park Has Lost Its CharmI used to be a regular visitor to the New Forest Water Park, enjoying the relaxed and chilled vibe it once had. However, my recent visit left me disappointed. The changes that have taken place have transformed this once-lovely water park into something unrecognizable.Excessive signage and fencing is everywhere, discouraging any sense of freedom. They now seem to prioritize churning through as many people as possible on the aqua park. What saddened me the most was the evident money-making focus of the place. Everything seemed to come with an additional charge, leaving visitors feeling ripped off. The club house feels unwelcoming as we were denied access to the games, told they were for staff only. One of the most frustrating things is the parking fee. It's absurd to charge visitors for parking, especially when they have already paid for an activity within the park. It only added to the sense of being taken advantage of and diminished the overall experience.I had been going to Water Park since its beginnings with just one cable. Seeing the expansion was exciting, but it has grown into something unrecognizable, losing its soul along the way. Regrettably, this will be the last time I visit the park in its current state.I hope that the management reevaluates their priorities and considers restoring the original spirit of the water park. I hope that someday it rediscovers its charm and friendliness.

Had a fantastic afternoon at The New Forest waterpark. Took me and my son on the inflatable obstacle course. I believe it was £40 for the two of us plus wetsuits which I think would £5 each I thought it was very reasonable. Lots of parking and lots of tables for for anybody who would like to view. Inflatable side we chose was Neptune. Me and my son had a fantastic time way above my expectations. The changing rooms and shower area are a little bit basic but you don’t need anything else. Would highly recommend the venue

It's rare to go somewhere that you actually feel could change more and still provide value- bring or hire the grip socks for the best experience
